Reuse of Oils
All oils from our mobile equipment are reused as additional components in boiler fuels, reducing waste and optimizing resources.
Oxidation Lagoons
We have an industrial wastewater treatment system that includes four oxidation ponds. The treated water is reused for irrigation of nearby plantations.
Forest Conservation
At Citricos Panama S.A. we stand out for preserving extensive areas of forest mass, maintaining virgin forests that protect the soil, water and greatly improve the quality of the air we breathe.
Biological Control Laboratory
For more than a decade, Cítricos, S.A. has implemented integrated pest management in our plantations, promoting an environmental balance without the use of chemical pesticides.
Hydrometeorological Measurements
In collaboration with Mi Ambiente, we carry out environmental measurements in our plantations, reporting this data to IMHA to contribute to climate monitoring in the region.
Utilization of Fruit Residues
Fruit residues are used in animal feed through a citropulp process, which transforms orange peels into raw material for feed formulations.
